With chilly days and unpredictable weather on the way, it’s important to do everything you can to make sure that everyone in your house makes healthy choices to maintain their health.
To keep your family well through the upcoming cold months, we recommend keeping a diffuser going with a few must-have essentials oils. Paired with a few common sense wellness suggestions, these tips will go a long way to help you stay healthy all winter long.
If I hear about something going around or start to feel run down myself, here’s what our family does:

+ Drink lots of water, add 1-2 drops Lemon to it
+ Drop Thieves vitality (or regular) under my tongue – or make a tea (1-2 drops Thieves on a spoonful of honey, stir into mug of hot water)
+ Drink NINGXIA RED! These packets come in each starter kit and are loaded with antioxidants that boost your immune system. I add one drop Frank, Orange + Thieves.
+ Make a Wellness Bomb: In a vegetable or gelatin capsule, add 1 drop Thieves Vitality + 1 drop Oregano Vitality, take 2-3x daily with food.
+ Take Inner Defense or Immupro – I’ve posted about Immupro before and swear by it.
+ Rub our Immune Rollers on our feet.

Immune Boosting Rollers:
a. Thieves – contains clove & cinnamon
b. Thieves + Frankincense
c. Thieves + Purification
d. Thieves + Oregano + Frankincense

Ratios for rollers vary, dilute heavily with carrier oil for babies. Our member resources include full dilution guides and tips for using oils with kids.

Diffuse RC + Thieves or RC + Lemon
SLEEP! Sometimes we deny our body when it really needs to rest. It’s when our body repairs itself – so take a nap if you need to!

Other useful tips:

Wash your hands often, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible throughout the day.

Drink plenty of liquids. Staying hydrated is important for keeping mucous membranes moist, so they can effectively fight off irritants. To warm up when it’s cold outside, drink herbal tea with honey and a drop of Thieves Vitality.
Provide your body with proper nutrients. Maintain your wellness by eating healthy to get the vitamins and nutrients your body needs. Seek out fruits and vegetables that are nutrient-packed and seasonal, like squash, hearty greens, and cauliflower.
